Press Release For Immediate Release Contact: CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORT FOR PERIOD MARCH 17 TO MAY 4, 2009 Sinking Spring, PA -- May 8, 2009 -- As a display of his commitment to transparency, Ed released his campaign finance report in abbreviated form for voters to see how the campaign is raising and spending money. This report covers the first of four periods in which municipal candidates must file these reports, covering the period between March 17 and May 4, 2009. No funds were brought forward from the last period since this was the initial one for the campaign. During the period, the campaign received donations totaling $175.00. Six donors contributed. Expenditures included several payments to PayPal for credit card processing fees, totaling $6.89. The most recent of these payments occurred on May 3, 2009. Another was to Sheetz in Leesport for gas in the amount of $10.00 on May 2, 2009 for travel expenses related to the campaign. Total expenditures were $16.89. During the period, Ed purchased campaign signs for advertisment purposes. This is being reported as an in-kind contribution in the amount of $270.00. Total cash on hand as of May 4 was $158.11. Any questions on the report can be directed to the campaign. The report has been filed with the Berks County Elections Board, and copies can be requested from that office. The next report is due on June 18. 2009, for the period between May 5 and June 8, 2009. |
